July 3: Muslim fundamentalists destroying Sufi sites in Mali

Just happened across this report from NPR. Muslim extremists in Mali, deliberately desecrating sites in Timbuktu sacred to the Sufi, have torn the door off of a sealed 15th century mosque. It was believed by the Sufi that this door would only be opened on the last day on Earth.
