April 16: "Letter on the Origin and Time of the Antichrist"

During the year 992, Adso of Montier-en-Der died. As abbot of the monastery at Montier-en-Der in France since 960, he authored a tract called "Letter on the Origin and Time of the Antichrist", in the form of an open letter to the widow of Louis IV, then an abbess.
